Titus James TWESIGE studied Anthropology and Sociology 3.1.1 and Master of Arts in Sociology at Makerere University. He also attained a Masters in Business Administration and Management(MBA) from Uganda Management Institute. He is currently completing a Master of Science in Public Health at Victoria university-Kampala.
He has worked for public health NGOs and Local Governments in Uganda and Eastern Africa for over 20years where he served as Program Officer at community level, Program Manager and Country Director for the Alliance of Mayors urban health program (AMICAALL Uganda chapter). Titus has served on a number of national regional and global strategic, planning, governance and policy platforms and boards including being a Lead Communications Focal Point for the Developing Countries NGO delegation to the board of Global Fund (Geneva), Vice Chairperson of the Uganda-Global Fund Country Coordination Mechanism (CCM), member of the Partnership Committee at Uganda AIDS Commission, Member of the NCDs TWG at Ministry of Health-Uganda, Member of the board of Uganda Network of AIDS Service Organization and Ex-Officio of the Alliance Executive Council of AMICAALL among others.
Titus has also carried out extensive research and social development consultancy assignments with reknown development organizations in Uganda and globally.
