Conferences and Meetings

This is an annual conference that targets to bring together Sociologist and Anthropologists both in Academia and the practitioners. The Conference participants benefit from the opportunity to share research and experiences, to learn from, and engage with, scholars and practitioners working within the discipline of sociology and Anthropology. The conference is tailored to topics that address social problems to constructively influence social policy.
The USAC 2025 will be a Two-days Conference held at Makerere University from 21^st to 22^nd August 2025. It will be organized as an inter-Uganda collaboration bringing together Public and Private Universities involved in research and Teaching of Sociology and Anthropology. As the first Sociological and Anthropological Conference in Uganda, it will serve as an official launch of USAC as an annual Conference to be held in Uganda.
