Christine tricia kulabako

Christine works at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Kyambogo University as a Part-time lecturer. Her background is in Sociology pursuing a PhD in Sociology at Makerere University, has a Master’s Degree in Sociology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences.
Christine has participated in several community-based outreaches and interventions all over Uganda with special interests in the cattle corridors where we find a greater number of animals and good evidence for human-animal interface, borderlands and refugees.
Through this she has conducted a series of research on zoonotic diseases especially using a one-health approach, borderland dynamics, and resilience among refugee communities.
She has done work with different colleges in Makerere as a Sociologist (College of Veterinary Medicine and College of Natural Sciences), community-based projects and the private sector networks with evidence of published work.
She also has skills in community development, social safeguards and ESIA.
